# CookBook Web App

| Quick answer: Open a modern browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) and sign in at app.cookbookmanager.com with your CookBook account. All mobile features are available on a larger screen.

# Supported browsers

* Firefox
* Safari
* Microsoft Edge

# Sign in on desktop or laptop

1. Open your preferred browser.
2. Go to [app.cookbookmanager.com](https://app.cookbookmanager.com/)
3. Enter your details then tap **Login** or use **Apple or Google single sign on.**
4. Your recipes, planner and lists all sync automatically.

#### Fix the “Unsupported browser” error (enable Service Workers)

**If you see** “Unsupported: This browser does not appear to be supported. Please ensure you have a modern browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, etc.) and have Service Workers enabled.” do the following:

**Chrome**

1. Type chrome://flags/#enable-service-worker in the address bar.
2. Enable the Service Worker flag.
3. Relaunch Chrome and return to [app.cookbookmanager.com](https://app.cookbookmanager.com/)

**Firefox**

1. Type about:config in the address bar and accept the warning.
2. Search for dom.serviceWorkers.enabled and set it to true.
3. Restart Firefox and sign in again.
