# How do I bulk import a CookBook recipe file?

| **Quick answer:** You can bulk import a ZIP containing `.cookbook` recipe files yourself in CookBook, up to **250 recipes per file**. Go to **Add (+) → Bulk import recipes → Select .cookbook ZIP file**. If the ZIP contains more than 250 recipes, email it and your CookBook username to **team@cookbookmanager.com** and we’ll help import it for you.

# Export your recipes as CookBook files

If you are moving recipes from one CookBook account to another, first export them from the account that currently holds the recipes.

1. **Sign in** to the CookBook account that holds the recipes.
2. Tap **Side menu ☰ → Settings → Backup / Export recipes**.
3. Choose **CookBook files**.
4. Wait for CookBook to generate a **.zip** file, then save or email it to yourself.
