# How do I cancel my CookBook subscription with Stripe?

| **Quick answer:** Open **Side menu ☰ → Username → Manage plan → Manage plan button**, which launches the Stripe billing portal. Tap **Cancel plan**, confirm, and you will not be charged again after the current period (or 14-day trial) ends.

# Important to know!

* **14-day trial:** Cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends to avoid the first yearly charge.
* **Renewals:** Cancel 24 hours before your next billing date to stop auto-renew.
* Deleting the app **or** your CookBook account **does not** cancel the subscription.
* No refunds or pro-rated credits are issued when you cancel. You keep full access until the current paid period ends.
* You can resubscribe anytime by choosing a new plan in the app.

# Cancel via Stripe (step-by-step)

1. Open the **Side menu** ☰.
2. Tap your **Username**.
3. Tap **Manage p****lan**
4. Confirm that **From** shows **Stripe** (not Apple or Google).
5. Tap **Manage plan -** CookBook opens the Stripe billing page in your browser.
6. Tap **Cancel plan**.
7. Review the notice, then tap **Cancel plan** again to confirm.

That’s it, your Stripe subscription will not renew.
