# How do I pin (or un-pin) a recipe?

| **Quick answer:** Open the recipe and tap the **pin icon** in the bottom-left corner of the header image. Pinned recipes (max 9) show up at the top of your **Home** tab and in the **Side menu** for one-tap access while you cook.

# Step-by-step

1. **Open** the recipe you’d like to pin.
2. Look at the bottom-left corner of the recipe photo - there’s a **📌 pin** icon.
3. **Tap** the pin. It will change colour and fill in to confirm the recipe is pinned.
4. Return to the **Home** tab: your recipe now appears in the Pinned section.
5. Open the **Side menu ☰**: the same recipe is listed there for quick switching.
6. To un-pin open the recipe again and tap the **📌 pin** icon once more.

### Limits & tips

* You can pin **up to nine recipes** at a time.
* If you reach nine, un-pin one before adding another.
* Pinned recipes sync across all your devices - pin on your phone, and it’s pinned on the Web App too.
