# How do I reset my CookBook password?

| **Quick answer:** On the login screen tap **Lost your password?** and we’ll email you a reset link. If you registered with **Apple** or **Google** single-sign-on, use the same Apple/Google button instead of a password reset. You can also choose **Sign in by email code** to log in without a password.

# Reset your password (email / username accounts)

1. Open **CookBook** and tap **Login**.
2. Enter your **email address** (or username) and tap **Login with email**.
3. Tap **Lost your password?**
4. Check your inbox for the reset email and follow the link to create a new password.

# If you signed up with Apple or Google

1. Tap **Continue** **with Apple** or **Continue** **with Google** on the login screen.
2. You’ll be redirected to Apple ID or Google to authenticate, no CookBook password is required.

# Password-less sign-in (one-time code)

1. On the **Log in** screen, tap **Sign in by email code**.
2. Enter the **one-time code** sent to your email.
3. You’re signed in, no password needed.
