# How do I restore my CookBook purchase?

| **Quick answer:** Open the CookBook app, go to **Side menu ☰ → Your username → Manage plan → Restore purchase**, then confirm. This re-links the plan stored in your App Store or Google Play account to the CookBook user you’re currently signed in as.

# Restore your purchase in the CookBook app

1. Tap the **Side menu** (☰)
2. Tap your **username** at the top of the menu
3. Tap **Manage plan**
4. Scroll down and tap **Restore purchase**
5. Read the warning pop up, then tap **Continue**
6. Wait for the confirmation message. Your paid plan is now linked to the account you are logged in with.

**Use this only if** you lost access to a purchase or you’re moving the licence to a different CookBook account.
