# How do I share recipes?

| **Quick answer:** CookBook lets you share recipes in several ways, including with other CookBook users, as text, as a PDF, or by email. You can also adjust servings and measurements before sharing.

# Ways you can share a recipe

CookBook supports the following sharing options:

* [Share with a friend (QR code, file, or link for another CookBook user in our .CB format)](#h_01KGR1PVYFV0XVQTZ9E2WBJBBS)
* [Create a PDF to print or share](#h_01KGR1PVYXH85Y99TGS6MGDA0M)
* [Send the recipe by email](#h_01KGR1PVZ1ZQQ2ACDFNV51R25V)
* Share a recipe summary (simple text)
* Share an ingredient summary (ingredients only as text)

**Note:** Sending a recipe directly by email is not available on the web app. On the web app, you will need to create a PDF and attach it to an email manually.
