# How do I turn haptic feedback off?

| **Quick answer:** Haptics (those tiny “buzzes” when you tick off ingredients or shopping-list items) can be turned off or on in your CookBook settings - permissions - Haptic feedback - off/on

# How to turn haptics on/off

1. Open the Side Menu
2. Tap on **Settings**
3. Scroll down to **Permissions**
4. Switch **Haptic feedback** to **Off or On**

Once disabled, you won’t feel vibrations for CookBook actions, or any other system taps until you turn the toggle back on.
