Quick answer: Copy the recipe text or link, open CookBook, tap Paste (or Add → Text), then Confirm. Review the preview and tap Save - CookBook pulls the title, servings, ingredients and steps automatically.

Import text from a website using Share (iOS & Android)
- Open the recipe page in your browser.
- Highlight and select the recipe text
- In the options pop out, scroll along to Share... (if available)
- Pick CookBook from the list of available apps. If the app isn't shown, follow the steps in these links to add CookBook to your share sheet for iOS and Android.
- Choose Save to CookBook (instant) or Edit recipe (tweak tags, notes, etc. before saving).
Import text & links by Copy → Paste (from anywhere)
- Copy the recipe text or the page link, this can be from a website, email, text message, PDF, you name it.
- Open CookBook app
- On the dashboard tap Paste in Quick Actions or tap Add (+) → Paste.
- Tap Confirm to let CookBook scan the content.

Preview fields (title, yields, times, ingredients, instructions).
- Happy? Tap Save.
- Need to redo? Tap Delete.
- On the edit screen you can fine-tune anything, add images or tags, and calculate nutrition. Tap Save again to finish.
