Unfortunately CookBook does not provide any analysis of nutritional information relating to a recipe and it's ingredients.
When adding/editing your recipe there is a text box named 'Nutritional Information' where you can input your recipes nutritional data from websites and other sources if you have it.
To make your recipes easier to understand when looking at nutritional value, we try to display the information & daily values based on the USDA & FDA recommended daily allowances. Find out more about the nutrition graphic display here.
Automatically calculating nutritional data for a recipe is something we would love to incorporate in future but haven't yet found the right company to work with.
There are other great apps and websites out there that do nutritional analysis where you can manually copy & paste your ingredients list into them and they will provide you with the data (generally this is one recipe at a time) such as myfitnesspal and Edamam.
If you're looking for an app that focuses more on tracking nutrition, macros, etc. we strongly recommend using myfitnesspal as their app has been built for this specific purpose.
