Yes! On the Apple & Google Play apps whenever you are viewing a recipe, whether in the normal recipe view or cooking mode, your screen will not lock/time out, so you don't need to get your screen all messy trying to type in your pin code over and over again!
We have also enabled screen wake lock on the web app which provides a way to prevent devices from dimming or locking the screen.
Wake lock is supported on the following browser versions. Green is good, red is no go.
