This article explains how to use the Safari Share Extension on iOS to import recipes directly into the CookBook app. You’ll also find instructions on how to add CookBook to your share sheet if it isn’t visible.
Steps to Share a Recipe from Safari

Open Safari on your iPhone or iPad and go to the recipe you’d like to import.

Tap the Share icon in the bottom toolbar.

Scroll through the apps and select CookBook. (If you don’t see CookBook, follow the steps below to add it to your favorites.)

When the CookBook Import Page appears, it will confirm whether it can read the recipe.

Choose one of these options:

Save to Account: Saves the recipe immediately without opening the CookBook app.

Edit in CookBook: Lets you modify details (tags, notes, etc.) before saving.

Tip: Find Your Recently Added Recipes
- Go to All Recipes in CookBook.
- Tap the Filter icon in the top-right corner.
- Under Sort by, select Created (newest).
- Tap the checkmark to save and close the filter tool.
How to Add CookBook to Your Share Sheet (& customise order):

In Safari, tap the Share icon.

Scroll horizontally to the right and tap More (the “...” icon).

Tap Edit in the top-right corner.

Add CookBook to your favorites:

Tap + next to “CookBook” in the suggestions list.

Reorder your favorites if desired:

Tap, hold, and drag the reorder icon to move CookBook higher or lower in the list.

Tap Done twice to save your changes.
