How do I use and manage my 'Regular items' shopping list?

Regular Items & Standard shopping lists

We have two types of shopping lists:

Regular items - Somewhere to store all of your weekly/monthly staples. When preparing your weekly shop, you can run through your 'Regular Items', tick any you need and then copy them onto your active shopping list.

Standard shopping lists - You can store up to 9 standard shopping lists and mark one as your 'active' list. This is the list that CookBook will default to when adding recipes to your shopping list. 

Adding items within the Regular items list

1. Navigate to your shopping lists
2. If you cannot see all of your lists, hit the filter shopping list icon
3. Tap on the 'Regular Items' list
4. Tap on the big circular + button at the bottom of the screen 
5. Tap on the text lines icon
6. Type in any items you'd like to store in this list
7. Hit 'Add items'

Adding items within another shopping list

1. Tap within the ingredient info area when dropped down to edit an item
2. Tap on the star in the top left corner
3. This item will now show in your 'Regular items' list

Edit item & aisle swap

1. Tap on an item to edit it
2. Tap in the relevant text box to edit the amount, measure & ingredient (note this will only change the item on the shopping list, not within the recipe it came from)
3. Tap on the aisle button to select a different aisle for the item to live in (note this will change the aisle for that item whenever it is added to a list in future)
4. Hit 'Save'
5. To change the aisle for multiple items, tick the items, tap the more menu and select 'Move to Aisle', select the aisle.

Delete items

1. Tap on the tick box to the left of an item to tick it (you can tick multiples)
2. Tap on the more menu
3. Tap 'Delete selected items' if you'd like to delete these items

Merged items

1. You'll see this icon on any items that have been merged with another
2. Tap on an item to edit it
3. To unmerge these items, tap within the ingredient info area and tap the unmerge icon in the top left corner. When added to the shopping list, it will now always split these items
4. To unmerge multiple items, tick them all, tap the more menu and select 'Unmerge items'
5. To allow the item/s to merge again, tick them, tap the more menu and select 'Allow merge'

Copy items to another list

1. Tap on the tick box to the left of an item to tick it (you can tick multiples)
2. Tap on the more menu
3. Select 'Copy to list'
4. Select your list and hit 'Copy'

Renaming the list

1. If you cannot see all of your lists, hit the filter shopping list icon
2. Tap on the more menu icon of your 'Regular Items' list
3. Tap 'Rename'
4. Input your new shopping list name
5. Hit 'Confirm'

Copy items to another list

1. If you cannot see all of your lists, hit the filter shopping list icon
2. Tap on the more menu icon of your 'Regular Items' list
3. Tap 'Copy to list'
4. Select the list you'd like to copy the items to and hit 'Copy'

Duplicate the list

1. If you cannot see all of your lists, hit the filter shopping list icon
2. Tap on the more menu icon of your 'Regular Items' list
3. Tap 'Duplicate'
4. Input the name of your new list and hit 'Confirm'
