How to import recipes from notes app

Quick answer: In your Notes app, open the note, tap Share → CookBook, then choose Save to CookBook or Edit recipe. CookBook scans the text, fills in the title, ingredients, and steps, and saves it to your library.

Open the recipe stored in your notes app
Tap on the Share icon
Pick CookBook from the list of available apps. If the app isn't shown, follow the steps in these links to add CookBook to your share sheet for iOS and Android.
Choose either:
- Save to CookBook: Saves the recipe immediately without opening the CookBook app.
- Edit recipe: Lets you modify details (tags, notes, etc.) before saving.
