Quick answer: No. Because CookBook uses in-app subscriptions, Apple’s Family Sharing does not extend your plan to other Apple IDs. Each person needs their own CookBook subscription or can use the free tier with 20 recipes.
Why Family Sharing doesn’t apply
- Apple allows Family Sharing for one-time purchases and some apps that opt in, but not for auto-renewing in-app subscriptions like CookBook’s Monthly or Yearly plans.
Your subscription is tied to your personal Apple ID, which covers iPhone, iPad and the Web App under that single login.
How to share recipes instead
- Keep separate accounts and exchange individual recipes via CB files, QR codes, or PDF exports.
Or share your login details (not recommended - see How can I share my whole CookBook? for pros and cons).
