Quick answer: You can cancel anytime during your free trial in your App Store or Google Play settings, there’s no need to contact us. Cancelling before the trial ends will stop any charges.
On iOS (Apple App Store)
Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad.
Tap your Apple ID name at the top.
Select Subscriptions.
Find and tap CookBook.
Tap Cancel Free Trial (or Cancel Subscription) and confirm.
Apple will show the date your trial ends, after this date you will lose access to Pro features unless you re-subscribe.
On Android (Google Play)
Open the Google Play Store app.
Tap your profile icon (top-right).
Select Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
Tap CookBook.
Tap Cancel subscription and follow the prompts.
Google will show the date your trial ends, after this date you will lose access to Pro features unless you re-subscribe.
On Stripe (Web App)
If you started your trial via our web app (desktop or mobile browser):
Sign into the CookBook Web App.
Tap the side menu ☰ and go to Settings.
Under Subscription, tap Manage subscription.
This will open your secure Stripe billing portal.
Click Cancel trial (or Cancel subscription) and confirm.
Stripe will show your trial’s end date, Pro access continues until that date.
Important notes
Deleting the app does not cancel the trial, you must cancel through your App Store or Play Store account.
If you change your mind before the end of the trial, you can re-enable it from the same screen.
You will keep Pro access until your trial expiry date even after cancelling.
