Quick answer: Open Side menu ☰ → Username → Manage plan → Manage plan button, which launches the Stripe billing portal. Tap Cancel plan, confirm, and you will not be charged again after the current period (or 14-day trial) ends.
Important to know!
- 14-day trial: Cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends to avoid the first yearly charge.
- Renewals: Cancel 24 hours before your next billing date to stop auto-renew.
- Deleting the app or your CookBook account does not cancel the subscription.
- No refunds or pro-rated credits are issued when you cancel. You keep full access until the current paid period ends.
- You can resubscribe anytime by choosing a new plan in the app.
Cancel via Stripe (step-by-step)
- Open the Side menu ☰.
- Tap your Username.
- Tap Manage plan
- Confirm that From shows Stripe (not Apple or Google).
- Tap Manage plan - CookBook opens the Stripe billing page in your browser.
- Tap Cancel plan.
- Review the notice, then tap Cancel plan again to confirm.
That’s it, your Stripe subscription will not renew.
