Quick answer: Yes. Whether you subscribed through the App Store, Google Play or Stripe (web checkout), your plan renews automatically, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period (or free-trial period) ends.
Monthly plan
- Charged immediately, then every 30 days.
- Auto-renews until you cancel.
Yearly plan (includes a 14-day free trial)
- Enjoy every feature free for seven days.
- If you don’t cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the first annual payment is taken.
- The plan then renews once a year on that same date.
Billing sources
- Apple App Store – manage from Subscriptions in the App Store.
- Google Play – manage from Subscriptions in the Play Store.
- Stripe (web checkout) – manage from the CookBook web portal Billing page (link in Settings → Manage plan).
How to avoid the next charge
- Open the Subscription or Billing page in the store or portal where you first paid.
- Select CookBook.
- Tap or click Cancel subscription at least 24 hours before the upcoming renewal (or before the free-trial ends for yearly plans).
Your plan stays active until the end of the current paid period, and you won’t be charged again.
