Quick answer: Open Side menu ☰ → Username → Manage plan → Manage plan button and follow the link to Apple App Store, Google Play, or Stripe (whichever you used to subscribe). Cancel at least 24 hours before the trial or billing period ends to avoid the next charge.
Important to know!
- 14-day trial: Cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends to avoid the first yearly charge.
- Renewals: Cancel 24 hours before your next billing date to stop auto-renew.
- Deleting the app or your CookBook account does not cancel the subscription.
- No refunds or pro-rated credits are issued when you cancel. You keep full access until the current paid period ends.
- You can resubscribe anytime by choosing a new plan in the app.
Find out where you subscribed
- Tap the Side menu ☰.
- Tap your Username.
- Tap Manage plan.
- Under From you’ll see Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or Stripe.
- Tap Manage plan - CookBook opens the correct store or billing portal.
How to cancel on each platform (setp-by-step)
Apple App Store
- On your iPhone/iPad, open Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
- Tap CookBook.
- Tap Cancel subscription and confirm.
Google Play Store
- Open Play Store → Profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
- Select CookBook.
- Tap Cancel subscription and confirm.
Stripe (web checkout)
- In your browser, sign in at app.cookbookmanager.com.
- Side menu → Settings → Manage plan (opens the Stripe portal).
- Click Cancel plan and confirm.
