Open the recipe you want to calculate nutrition for.
Tap Edit.
Scroll down to the Nutrition section.
Tap Calculate nutrition.
CookBook will estimate calories, macros, and other nutrition values from the ingredients.

You can review and adjust anything before saving the recipe.

Tip: After you calculate and save nutrition on your recipes, CookBook can use that information to show daily calories, fat, carbs, and protein totals in the meal planner.

Add your own nutritional information

If you already know the nutrition values or want to enter them manually:

Open the recipe and tap Edit.
Scroll to the Nutrition section.
Tap Edit in the nutrition area.
Enter or paste the nutritional information.
Tap Save.

Daily nutrition values

CookBook’s default daily nutrition values are based on USDA and FDA recommendations using a 2,000 calorie daily diet.

Set your own macro goals

You can customise your nutrition targets in Settings.

Go to Side menu → Settings → Nutrition goals and set your preferred targets for:

Calories
Total fat
Carbohydrates
Protein

Find the right billing portal

From the CookBook dashboard, tap the Side menu ☰.
Tap your Username.
In Update subscription, note which button you see:
- Manage subscription → opens Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android).
- Stripe payments / plan → opens Stripe’s secure billing page in your browser.

How to edit payment method in each store

Apple App Store

On your iPhone/iPad, open Settings → Apple ID → Payment & Shipping.
